Stretch and build
The ideas that emerge from the unconstrained thinking that is encouraged in the Create phase naturally need to be thoroughly and rigorously tested before being taken forward to implementation.
Our Stretch & Build phase does this whilst equally ensuring that critical and rational assessment doesn’t drive the creativity and innovation out of the idea. Hence we focus not only on selecting and testing the best ideas but on ensuring that they are subjected to yet more scrutiny and creative thinking so that we can be sure they will achieve the greatest possible positive impact, whilst at the same time looking at how changes will need to be managed and implementation obstacles overcome. This is what we mean by ‘stretching’ an idea.
