Transferring skills Ignite takes a proactive and structured approach to ensure that there is a defined capability transfer outcome within every project we are involved in. By ‘capability’ we mean a combination of skills, such as team building, generating ideas or project management, and attitudes and beliefs covering such things as genuine support for the ambitions of the project or belief in the need to change from the existing situation. When it comes to capability transfer our philosophy is: · Training and learning is personalised to meet the specific needs of the individual, team and organisation · We quickly follow learning with opportunities to apply the learning to ensure a sustainable outcome · We ensure our training and learning is real, relevant and where possible experientially based · We always link what we do to an agreed and defined outcome Our overall objectives are as follows: • Leadership Team - To highlight and support those behaviours which create an environment supportive and conducive to the delivery of effective innovative change programmes • Project Managers – To ensure that managers can effectively lead and manage a innovative change programme within their organisation, applying the principles, structure and behaviours to whatever project or challenge they embark on • Project Team - To ensure that the team possesses the relevant skills that they need to be effective proactive contributors on this and future projects. • Organisational Wide Participants - To provide individuals with the skills and confidence that will enable them to make positive contributions to the project |
